After 30 years, Battlefield Band still lead the way for Scottish music, playing songs of rare passion and joy. Inspired by their rich heritage of Celtic music and fired by the strength of today's Scottish cultural scene, Battlefield Band mix the old songs with new self-penned material, and perform them on a unique fusion of ancient and modern instruments. The five-peice ensemble will feature both retiring (Alan Reid) and emerging (Ewan Henderson) talent, plus the seasoned talents of Sean O'Donnell, Alasdair White and Mike Katz.
