Winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964, Fiddler on the Roof is the brainchild of Broadway legends, Jerome Robbins and Harold Prince; songwriters, Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick; and bookwriter, Joseph Stein. Touching audiences worldwide with its humour, warmth and honesty, this universal show is a staple of the musical theatre canon. Rich with musical hits you know and love, including "Sunrise, Sunset", "If I Were A Rich Man", "Matchmaker, Matchmaker", and "Tradition", this is the heartwarming story of fathers and daughters, husbands and wives and life, love and acceptance.

Festival Players celebrate their 15th year of outstanding theatre over the Christmas season! As with shows like, West Side Story, Mary Poppins and last year's Anne of Green Gables, Fiddler on the Roof will feature a cast of 30, a pit orchestra of 15, an engaging new set, costumes and an evening that will remind you of how great theatre can be.
