“For years the members of Front Porch have been serving up some of the best acoustic blues and roots music to be found in this country. With pals like Bobby Cameron and J.R. Shore along for the ride, one is guaranteed a great time, full of authenticity and energy.”

- Holger Petersen, CBC’s Saturday Night Blues

Twenty years ago, Peter North decided to put a roots revue show together under the banner Come On In My Kitchen. Countless concerts and festival appearances later, plus a mid-stream name change to Front Porch Roots Revue and it’s time to bring together the key players who have presented annual shows at Festival Place since 1998. They have toured across western Canada: Vancouver Island Music Festival, the Dauphin Country Festival, the Edmonton Blues Festival, the Saskatoon Winter Blues Festival, Victoria's Butchart Gardens concert series, and the Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival.

From the Kitchen To The Front Porch promises to be an evening of top flight Americana and Canadiana roots music showcasing original material, songbooks of Ian Tyson, classic traditional and gospel blues, or more recently, classic country-rock.

The Front Porch core four, Ron Rault, Crawdad Cantera, Thom Moon and Gordie Matthews, will be joined by Bobby Cameron, J.R. Shore, Karla Anderson, Ian Oscar, and Garth Kennedy.
