Front Porch Roots Revue drives into 2019 with a special show titled Flying On The Ground Is Wrong: The Songs of The Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers & Buffalo Springfield.

An extension of the Classic Country Rock shows, the core four of Front Porch will be joined by founding lead singer of One Horse Blue, Ian Oscar. The very special guest for this Flying On The Ground Is Wrong show is onetime member of The Byrds, singer and guitarist John York.

John York was a member of the legendary Byrds during the Dr. Byrds and Mr. Hyde thru the Ballad of Easy Rider era, appearing on those fabulous discs as well as the Live At The Fillmore '69 album. John has continued to mine Byrds material over the years, had a band with ex-Byrd Gene Clark and has been part of Barry McGuire's Trippin' The Sixties show for years. John's extensive resume also includes membership in the Sir Douglas Quintet and the Mamas and Papas touring band and recordings as a solo artist.
